| Although semi's can add colour they cannot lift or cover grey. They can be used temporarily to stain white hair but care has to be taken whilst using red tones as white hair can turn pink. This can be avoided by adding some natural tint to the product to ensure warm deep colours that hold and look better. Semi colours are also good for colour correction. This is because hair that already has permanent colour on it has already been chemically treated and adding more permanent colour can damage hair.
