Drying and Styling
| Using the correct products and brushes helps when it comes to styling and they also help protect your hair from every day damage. It is a hair stylists job to advise you of the correct products suited to your hair and to show you how to blow dry your hair in a way suited to you. Here at ''Only You'' i use a variety of products for cleansing , conditioning and styling the hair, from Fudge, Paul Mitchell and John Freida. If you have a busy lifestyle (which most of us do!) then i can also give you some tips on how to put your own hair up or different techniques in blow-drying or styling Its not a hard as it seems! Styling your hair can be made so simple even just by changing a parting or using other resources such as heated rollers, velcro rollers, even straightener's. Even though hair can be very strong, over a period of time damage can eventually destroy hair. Not only the common effects such as hair drying, straightening and chemicals but also environmental damage can also occur. Products are recommended for everyone to protect and to also help manage a style. Hair products have come a long way from the sticky consistency to more smoother creams and serums. Companies are constantly designing new products to suit all hair types. Also using the wrong brush can not only rip the hair but cause unnecessary damage to it. Finding a brush suited to your hair is essential. A good hairdryer is also important as anything too hot or too slow can cause heat damage to hair resulting in split ends.
